Frank Daniels Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science
in 1991
Frank's dad, the son of Italian immigrants, left high school to support
his mother during the Great Depression. He then joined the Merchant Marine and Navy. Frank's
mom, told by her family that "girls don't go to college," turned down a college
scholarship to go directly into the world of work. Although neither of Frank's parents
ever continued their education, they both worked very hard for many years so that he and
his younger brother could attend college.
In this video, you will get a taste of Frank's unique sense of creativity. But don't let this unusual
video clip fool you: Frank is widely renowned here at GBC for his commitment to students and his passion
for teaching.
