NSF Scholarship Available.When: Friday, February 3 at 10 a.m.

Location and Room Number: Battle Mountain – BM 3, Elko –HTC 121, Ely- GBC 114, Pahrump- GBC PVC 122, Winnemucca- GBC 115

Who can apply: Undergraduate students enrolled full-time (12 credits for fall and 1-3 credits for summer) at any NSHE institution during the time they are conducting their research. Scholar must have a NSHE faculty mentor to supervise their research.

Research areas: The NSF mission includes support for all fields of fundamental science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) except for medical sciences. Proposed research (STEM or otherwise) related to solar energy, water and/ or environmental research are of special interest.

Scholarship amount: $4,000 for students

Application deadline: Friday, March 3, 2017
