About the Program

Interested in helping people, but not sure in which capacity? Register for the entry level course, HMS 101, Introduction to Human Services, and find your area of interest! The Certificate of Achievement in Human Services core curriculum parallels the AAS Degree in Human Services, so you can begin working on your degree while working on your certificate! Also, you can "bridge" into social work, or just continue your education toward degrees in substance abuse counseling, health sciences and/or other mental health care fields by beginning here, in the Certificate program.
