The Best Kept Secret in the U.S.
If you live in rural Nevada, you'll be surprised and perhaps amazed at the evolution of your regional GBC Centers. If you live elsewhere, you may have just discovered a best kept secret in the U.S. - wide open spaces, distinctive community cultures, vibrant economies, and a climate of exciting possibilities. GBC, a comprehensive residential college, offers associate and baccalaureate degrees resulting in real careers, as well as programs optimized to transfer to a university.
Resources for You
If you're ready to apply, you can do that online. Students transferring from other institutions will want to have transcripts sent to GBC.
Wait until you receive a User ID and initial password (usually within one working day, by email), then log into the MyGBC Self-Service Center to enroll in classes.
You may also want to apply for financial aid.
If time or travel is an issue, be assured that GBC can cater to you with a variety of distance technologies. For example, browse the schedule at MyGBC for Internet classes.
For high school students, GBC has several options for earning college credits before high school graduation and getting a jump start on a degree and a career, often at greatly reduced cost.
