Cost of Attendance

This is only an estimate and refers to the upcoming academic year (fall 24/spring 25) rate only. This chart is intended as a guide for students to help figure out cost per credit. Prices do not include application fees, lab fees, differential fees, books, or other program/degree specific costs. Please refer to additional charts for breakdown by fee type.

High School Registration Fees

Nevada high school students enrolled in GBC classes will only pay 50% of the normal registration and technology fees. Lab fees are variable depending on the course taken and are charged in addition to the registration and technology fees previously mentioned. This special rate is not available for upper-division (i.e., 300- and 400- level) courses or during the summer term. For additional details regarding fees, contact the Controller's Office at GBC; for information regarding attending GBC, contact the Admissions and Records Office or your high school counselor.

High School Dual Enrollment Fees Effective Fall 24/Spring 25 and Fall 25/Spring 26 Only

For the purpose of this section, the term: "Concurrent enrollment" means a postsecondary course taught at a high school by a high school instructor mutually agreed upon by the NSHE institution and high school. "Dual enrollment" means a postsecondary course taught by an NSHE instructor on the high school campus or NSHE campus through a formally established dual enrollment program.

Fees, Tuition and Other Changes Subject to Change Without Further Notice!

Notwithstanding currently posted tuition and fees, all fees, tuition or other charges which students are required to pay each semester are subject to increase by action of the Board of Regents at any time before the commencement of classes (primarily due to budgetary shortfalls). The amount you are charged at the time of registration is not a final bill and may be increased. You will receive a supplemental invoice for any additional amounts which the Board of Regents may impose. Fee changes put in place less than 30 days before commencement of classes will not be subject to late fee penalties.
