CTE College Credit Program

CTE programs collage graphic.CTE College Credit is a program that offers FREE college credit for approved high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. High school students can prepare for college and the workforce by completing CTE program sequences of high school elective classes taught at their high school.

Requirements to Receive CTE College Credits

  • Earn at least a 3.0 grade point average in the high school CTE program sequence (Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3)
  • Pass the End of Program Assessment
  • Pass the Employability Skills for Career Readiness Assessments
  • Apply for CTE College Credit at Great Basin College and complete the General Application for Admission at Great Basin College

Great Basin College CTE College Credit can apply towards Certificates of Achievement, Associate of Applied Science, and Bachelor of Applied Science degrees in the following pathways:
