Great Basin College wants to be your choice for higher education. GBC offers associate and baccalaureate level instruction in career and technical education and academic areas. About 4,000 students are enrolled annually online from across the country and on campuses and centers across 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada's largest counties. We border Arizona, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and California. We are GBC!

Students can apply for CTE College Credit up to three years after high school graduation. For more information, please refer to the CTE Student Instructions Guide!
Complete and submit the online GBC Application for Admission.
Complete the online CTE College Credit application. Make sure you select Great Basin College.
To receive your credits you must complete the requirements for the Nevada Department of Education Certificate of Skill Attainment. Credits are posted to transcripts during the GBC summer semester only. To see if you received your credits, check online at myGBC.
You will need to pay the $10 New Student fee, if you haven't done so already, in order to receive your transcripts. You can make this payment, online, at myGBC!
MTC Scholarships:
To help you on your way financially, check out the MTC scholarship. You can be awarded up to $5,000 toward a diesel, welding, industrial plant mechanics, electrical or instrumentation program at GBC. Click for more MTC Scholarship information!
Other CTE Scholarships:
If you are applying for a Caree and Technical Education (CTE) program at GBC, check out other GBC Scholarships to help you on your way at theĀ GBC Student Financial Services web page! Send an e-mail to gbcfinaid@gbcnv.edu if you are interested additional scholarships at GBC. Be sure to turn in your FAFSA to qualify for additional financial aid.
