Great Basin College wants to be your choice for higher education. GBC offers associate and baccalaureate level instruction in career and technical education and academic areas. About 4,000 students are enrolled annually online from across the country and on campuses and centers across 86,500 square miles, two time zones, and ten of Nevada's largest counties. We border Arizona, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, and California. We are GBC!

As a student registered for class or an employee of Great Basin College, you are hereby notified that this College does comply with the Campus Sex Crimes Prevention Act, effective October 27, 2002.
Section 1601 of Public Law 106-386 requires sex offenders (anyone required to register as a sex offender pursuant to state law) to provide notice to each institution of higher education at which the person is employed, carries on a vocation, or is a student and to provide notice about each change in enrollment or employment status of such person at an institution of higher education in the state of Nevada.
Offenders who are students or workers (as defined by NRS 179D.110 and 179D.120) and all offenders who are present for 48 hours or more on any Great Basin College campus (pursuant to requirements of NRS 179D) must register with your local sheriff/police. The offender must also notify Campus Security at 775-934-4923 or campus.security@gbcnv.edu. They may also contact the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs, Title IX Coordinator at 775.327.2116.
