DIY STEM with the Arduino Starter Kit

This program is designed to give you an introduction to STEM concepts in action. At your school you have access to the Arduino Starter Kit that has 15 tutorials that will show you how to build and program simple electronic circuits. Practice your college readiness with a rigorous extracurricular that will give you a chance at entry into our 2017 Summer Camp this June! At our summer camp you will present your project at a symposium, like you would present a product or research in college. This will also provide you the chance to meet and collaborate with other students of similar interests!

So, if you like to make, break and piece technology back together, or need an excuse to order $75 worth of materials to build your own project, apply by March 10th! Request time from your SPIF to prototype with the materials that were sent to your school, and work on your board design and schematic, and don't forget your parts list! *Use EagleCad or Fritzing to design your schematic and board, PLUS these programs will help you identify what parts you will need.

We hope to see you at our June Summer STEM Camp!

*Details to follow on project proposal application and Summer Camp. Check with your SPIF then call 775.753.2180 with any additional questions.
